Introduction to Mindfulness!
Mindfulness is one method of self-care that can give you a sense of calm and peace by learning to focus your attention, let go of negativity and slow down racing thoughts. As well as benefiting your emotional wellbeing, studies have indicated that effective mindfulness practices can also improve overall physical health by reducing stress, inflammation, and enhancing our immune system.
We are offering members a free ‘Introduction to Mindfulness’ course run by one of our staff and fellow Flourish member, Ivan. Ivan has almost 10 years’ experience as a mindfulness guide and is passionate about the health and wellbeing benefits that can be gained from regular engagement.
