Caroline Farquhar

Caroline comes to her role with Flourish Tasmania with many years of service on voluntary boards across a range of Not-for-Profit organisations that are very close to her heart and core values.

A strong ongoing, open conversation that sees mental health and overall wellbeing spoken about with compassion and transparently, in the same way as we would talk about our physical health without any bias, shame, or stigma is something that Caroline is passionate about supporting. Her current areas of study have a focus on trauma, anxiety, grief and loss, and new areas of study around personality traits that specifically relate to high sensitivity and sensory overwhelm.

Along with shining a light on mental health, Caroline’s passions include animal welfare, her two much loved fur babies (both Rescue Dogs), anything and everything colourful, shoes and jewellery are her guilty pleasure, and her next dream is to move to the country and reinvigorate her love of open green spaces, with rivers and healthy trees, a garden filled with colourful art works and mosaics, and hopefully a few miniature goats, pot belly pigs, and a rescue horse or ten!
